COVID 19 is a serious pandemic that has claimed so many lives across the countries of the world while schools were not spared. Educational Institutions at all levels in Nigeria were shut on March 19, 2020, by the federal government due to the deadly coronavirus in the country. Yet, the schools were re-opened by the government in January 2021 with certain conditions that most institutional managers were unable to satisfy. The paper unveiled some managerial challenges which include the introduction of online modalities without adequate curriculum design by planners, poor internet network which frustrates lecturers and students adequate knowledge on the use of computers by some lecturers and students.
