Every individual has the right to proper sexual and family life whether handicapped or not. Adequate knowledge about human sexuality paves way for this and was education gives adequate information as to how one can live a fulfilling family life and have a proper sexual life in spite of being handicapped. The handicapped child should not be denied of this knowledge. Therefore,this paper examined the concept of sex education and seduced some reasons on why the handicapped should be exposed to this knowledge. It also highlighted what to teach,and who to teach sex education to the handicapped. Finally,the paper suggested that enriches sex education programme should be developed via health education programme of the handicapped.
