The study x-rays the relationship between aggressive behavior and social interaction of students with attention deficit hyperactive disorder in Ilorin Metropolis, Kwara State, Nigeria. Descriptive survey research design of correlational type was used. The respondents were two hundred and ten (210) students with attention deficit hyperactive disorder; they were purposefully selected for the study. Two research instruments were used to collect data from the respondents. They are aggressive behavior questionnaire (E= 0.75) and social interaction questionnaire (r = 0.83). Two hypotheses were stated and tested at 0.05 significant levels. Pearson Product Correlation Coefficient PPMC) and t-test were used to analyze data gathered. The finding of the study revealed that there is significant positive relationship between aggressive behavior and social interaction of students with attention deficit hyperactive disorder in Ilorin Metropolis, Kwara State,Nigeria (p<0.05). It also showed that there was significant difference in aggressive behavior of male and female students with attention deficit hyperactive disorder in ilorin Metropolis, Kwara State, Nigeria (P<0.05). Based on the finding, it was concluded that aggressive behavior had significant positive relationship on social interaction of students with attention deficit hyperactive disorder in Ilorin Metropolis Therefore, it was recommended that parents and teachers should find a way of reducing aggressive behavior of students with attention deficit hyperactive disorder by working with them closely. | ADEDAYO ADESOKAN(PHD) | VOLUME 5, JULY 2020 | HOME BASED | 2020-07-15 |
