The study examined gender differences in emotional adjustment of fresh students in Kwara State University, Malete. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study and 300 fresh students randomly selected across the six colleges in the University. An adopted Questionnaire from Nadia (2012) was used to collect data from respondents on emotional adjustment.One research question was answered with descriptive statistic frequency count and percentage and one hypothesis was tested with t-test statistical analysis at 0.05 level of significance. Findings of the study revealed that fresh students have low level of emotional adjustment and male students were found to have more emotional adjustment than female.
