The study investigated the effects of concrete representational abstract on mathematics performance of students with learning disabilities, in ilorin metropolis. The study adopted pre-test, post-test, quasi experimental research design, using 2 x 1 factorial matrixes. Two instruments were used to select participant. Two hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. A total of 60 participants were used for the study. The data gathered were analyzed using T-test. The result revealed significant effect in Mathematics performance of participants exposed to CRA and the control group (CRA mean score:24.43 and control group mean score: 10.33). also, there was no significant effect in Mathematics performance of male and female participants exposed to treatment (male mean score =10.47 and female mean score= 10.20). based on the findings, the study recommended that CRA should be used as a method by mathematics teachers in improving mathematics performance of students with learning disabilities. | ADEDAYO ADESOKAN(PHD) | VOLUME 2 | HOME BASED | 2014-10-07 |
