PERCEIVED STRATEGIES FOR THE PROMOTION OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION AMONG STUDENTS IN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS IN KWARA STATE

The paper examined the strategies for the promotion of entrepreneurship education among students in Tertiary institution in Kwara State. Two research questions and two hypotheses guided the study. The population of the study consisted of 200, out of 943 undergraduate of Business education from four Tertiary Institutions in Kwara State that e selected through simple random sampling techniques and were used for the dy. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection. Mean and standard deviation were used to analyze data related to research questions, while t-test statistics t /ere used in testing the two null hypotheses of the study. The study revealed that in students oriented and computer assisted methods of teaching to a great extent inculcate entrepreneurship development students. The two null hypotheses of no significant; difference were not rejected at 0.05 level of significance which therefore indicate that the opinion of male and female students do not differ significantly on the extent students centred and computer assisted method of teaching inculcated entrepreneurship development in students. It was recommended among others that government and other stakeholders should find teaching/learning to an encouraging extent for total scholars to be developed our students at tertiary institutions.
