The central focus of this study was to find out the importance of strategic management practices to enterprises in Anambra State. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire formulated by the researcher. Four experts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka carried out the face and content validation of the instrument. Out of the 208 copies of the questionnaire distributed, 201 were retrieved. Items related to research questions were analyzed using mean ratings, while t-test statistics at 0.05 level of significance v/as used in testing the null hypotheses. The findings of the study showed that entrepreneur in Anambra State generally accepted that strategic management practices are the panacea for the problems of enterprises. Recommendations were made for entrepreneur and education planners to have insight into the relevant strategic management practices for the success of enterprises and vocational undergraduates, so as to make them self-reliant at the end of their programme. | DR.
