ﻳﻘﺪم ﺬا اﻟﺒﺤﺚ اﺳﺔ در ﻋﻨﺪ ﻋﻦ اﻟﻔﻜﺮ اﻟﻠﻐﻮي ف اﻟﻌﺎﻟ اﻟﻠﻐﻮي اﳌﻌﺮو ﺑﺎﺎﺣﻆ اﳌﺘﻤﺜﻞ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﮫ "اﻟﺒﻴﺎن واﻟﺘﻴن، وﻻ ﺷﻚ أن اﺎﺣﻆ اﻟﻌﻠﻤﺎء اﳌﺆﺳﺴن ﻣﻦ أﺑﺮز ﻟﻌﻠﻮم اﻟﻠﻐﺔ اﻟﻌﺮﻴﺔ وأدﺎ .اﺳﺎت اﳌﺠﺎﻻت وﻻ ﺷﻚ أن اﻟﺒﺎﺣﺜن ﻗﺪ ﻗﺎﻣﻮا ﺑﺪر دﺑﻴﺔ واﻟﻨﻘﺪﻳﺔ واﻟﺒﻼﻏﻴﺔ ﻟﻠﻜﺘﺎب إﻻ أن اﻟﻨﻮا اﻟﻠﻐﻮﺔ ﻣﺎ زاﻟﺖ اﺎﺟﺔ إ اﻟﻛ ﻋﻠﺎ، ﻛﻘﻀﻴﺔ اﻟﻌﻼﻗﺔ ﺑن اﻟﻔﻜﺮ واﻟﻠﻐﺔ، ووﺿﻮح اﻟﺘﻌﺒ واﻟﺪﻻﻟﺔ، وﻛﺬﻟﻚ ﺗﻨﺎول ﻗﻀﻴﺔ ﻣﻔﻮم اﻟﻠﻐﺔ ووﻇﺎﺋﻔﺎ اﳌﻨﻈﻮر اﺪﻳﺚ اﻟﻠﻐﻮي .اﺳﺔ وﻗﺪ ﺗﺒ اﻟﺪر اﳌﻨ اﻟﻮﺻﻔﻲ ﻣﺴﺘﻌﻴﻨﺎ ﺑﺎﻟﺪراﺳﺎت اﻟﻠﻐﻮﺔ اﺪﻳﺜﺔ .اﺳﺔ أن اﺎﺣﻆ وﻣﻦ ﻧﺘﺎﺋﺞ اﻟﺪر ﻟﮫ إﺳﺎﻣﺎت ﻟﺴﺎﻧﻴﺔ ﻻﺴﺎن ﺎ، ﺑﻞ وﻗﺪ أﺛﺮت ﺬﻩ ﺳﺎﻣﺎت إﺛﺮاء اﻟﺪراﺳﺎت اﻟﻠﻐﻮﺔ اﺪﻳﺜﺔ This study presents language thought from the perspective of Jaiz as contained in his work al-bayaan wat-tabyiin. Jaiza was a renowned scholar often referred to by scholars of Arabic in the areas of linguistics. However, some of gray areas which have not been properly attended to is the interrelationship between language and though, therefore this work looked into some aspects such as language and its concepts, functions of languages from the contemporary linguistic perspectives. Interrelationship between language and thought was addressed. The study employs descriptive analysis. Among the major findings derived from the study includes: that Jaiz considers Language and though inseparable, and even though linguistic thought could be expressed in different forms among others.
