Empowerment centers in Nigeria are identified with various designation such as: Enhancement center, Entrepreneur centers, Skill acquisition centers, Vocational centers, Innovation enterprise centers among others. Given the present situation of Nigeria’s economy, It can be said that, the nation presents a mixed by of paradoxes, indicating that in spite of Nigeria’s resource endowments, most people are poor and are living on less than a dollar a day. The collapse in oil prices has due consequences on Nigeria economic growth, empowerment and the standard of living. This therefore increase the desire for empowerment and entrepreneurship to help realize the youth’s vast potentials with beneficial impacts on empowerment and standard of living. However, the empowerment centers aim art strategies of equipping the multitudes of youths with job skills. Greenhouse empowerment centers cannot be left out in this trend.
