Variation in coarse aggregate types, shapes, textures and means of production are known to have a profound effect on mechanical properties of concrete such as compressive and flexural strengths. Two coarse aggregates; uncrushed gravel (UG) and crushed granite (CG) were used as coarse aggregates. Coarse aggregates were partially replaced with crushed granite at the incremental rate of 20% by weight of total coarse aggregate from 0% to 100%.
