The goal of education is to prepare scholars for gainful employment and useful responsible living. Any education short of these shows that there is lapse which might result to social vices. Social vices are deviant behavior that negates expected and acceptable norms of the society. To curb social vices, a nation needs to breed self reliant scholars. Business education therefore remains a good field of study where an individual is made versatile and diversified into entrepreneurship ventures. Business education cuts across all fields of learning' because it is an area that trains people for and about business. However, this paper takes critical look at the concept of business education and its objectives, social vices, its causes, types and consequences. It was therefore concluded that business education is full of educational tools that can be used, if properly utilized to prevent and also curb social vices at any level in our society.
