The emergence of computer has brought about new ways of teaching thereby doing away with older methods of teaching. The era of 'talk and chalk" is gradually giving way to technological devices through the computer, Internet, e-leaming e-school and e-campus. This paper,therefore, examined the challenges of teaching with technologies in higher institutions in Nigeria. Challenges identified and discussed were teacher factor, unsteaåy power supply, and poor infrastructural situation among others. In the light of these, recommendations made which include: effective and efficient use of Technologies in Nigerian higher institutions through compulsory capacity building for the in-service teachers on technology, review of teacher education curriculum content to include training in technology programmes.
