Bio: Bolaji Owoseni is a Lecturer in Archaeology at Kwara State University, Nigeria and also currently doing her PhD in African historical archaeology at the Sainsbury Research Unit, UEA, UK. Her BSc and MSc in Archaeology at the University of Ibadan. For her doctoral research, she investigates archaeologically the regional socio-political development of Ilorin prior to the 19th century through her material culture.
