Bio: Morenike Folabalogun holds a Doctoral Degree in Art History from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. An (MA) Art History from Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Oyo State. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) Art History, from Fine Art Department, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and National Certificate for Education (NCE) from Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin.
Academic Awards/Research Grants: Women Research and Documentation Center (WORDOC). Awarded Grant for my M.A.Thesis,Institute of African Studies,University of Ibadan,Oyo State,1992/93.

Her research interest includes; The Residual Negative Effects of Colonial and European Legacy on African Culture, Gender Issues and Copyright Issues and Professionalism in Visual Arts, Ethnic Motifs and Meanings and Experimenting with Nigerian Fabrics in Fashion Design. As an eye-minded art historian, she never passes up an opportunity to photograph her travel experiences to historical artistic ruins. She is credited to have coined two phraseologies that have never been used in Art History.
