Bio: Dr. S.O. Abdulraman is a Mining Engineer & Project Development Expert with over 28 years’ experience covering Mine and Processing plant design; Assessment of acquisition opportunities; Capacity building; and Setting up management teams for effective running of mine operations. A respected senior industry leader in the Nigerian mining and minerals space, A Fed. Govt. Appointee, currently serving as the Chairman, MIREMCO (Kwara state) & At Professional level, The Chairman, NMGS (Ilorin Chapter).

Academic Awards/Research Grants: (i)Distinction in Postgraduate Diploma in Mining Engineering, The Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. 2005 (ii) Kwara State Polytechnic Alumni Association Award for Being the Best Student in the Institute of Mines and Metallurgy 1989/1990 Session. (iii) NMGS Young Geoscientist/Miners Award for the Year 2019/2020, haven demonstrated outstanding ability promise in Mining and Pure Geosciences in Nigeria. (iv) First to be awarded PhD in Mining Engineering (as a non-faculty) in Nigeria
